Belt Reco was formed in 2000 by acquiring all services and contracts by what was then known as Good year Engineered Products. Belt Reco was accredited by Good Year until 2009 when they were approached by Continental Contitech to be the official distributor of Continental Contitech Conveyor products in central and southern Africa.
The Authorization from ContiTech Northeim Germany is to deploy Marketing and commercial Activity for ContiTech branding conveyor belting and service material in South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, Botswana and DRC (Southern Africa) this has been in place from early 2009 and is growing from strength to strength.
Belt Reco is equipped with a fully functioning work shop where pulley lagging, re-furbishing of conveyor belting to customer specification, polyurethane spraying etc is done on site by our competent and highly trained staff members. In addition, a 24 hour breakdown service is also offered where our mobile teams can perform said duties on site.
Belt Reco supplies many facets of the conveyor belting system to customers, including idlers, idler frames, pulleys, and scrapers and tracking devices. When called upon, our buying team will assist customers with regards to product that is difficult to source within a relevant country.
